I am an artist/designer living in Victoria,
B.C. I paint with acrylics and oils on canvas. I also like to draw
and have done printmaking as well.
My art is a lyrical response to what I see
around me, to the process itself and to the art making materials.
Often I work from my own photographs, using them as a resource.
While at times I paint representational
images, I am more of an abstractionist than a realist and am
interested in the formal concerns of modern art.
After raising three children and working a
day job, I am finally retired, with the luxury of time to explore my
creative process.
